Development of the StarFish side scan sonar marches on at quite a pace. A prototype of the revolutionary design has been wet tested for the first time on Lake Windermere (UK).

The StarFish side scan sonar 'flies' beautifully through the water exceeding all the design teams expectations. The early sonar images are breathtaking considering that StarFish is still in the early stages of design.

Further field trials are scheduled for next month.
