Tritech has announced the launch of the new StarFish 450H, an affordable, high performance, hull-mounted side scan sonar which produces spectacular images of the seabed.
The compact, slim-line sonar design combined with flexible mounting bracket can be fixed on to any vessel and allows you to monitor the seabed for interesting targets during every journey.
With hull-mounted systems there's no need to worry about snagging a towing cable when surveying in shallow or high traffic waters, making it very simple to operate. Its ease of use makes it an ideal system for anyone needing to capture digital images of the seabed on their own.
Utilising advanced digital CHIRP acoustic technology, developed from the professional underwater survey industry, StarFish 450H can view targets at longer ranges without any loss in image quality. It out performs many larger, commercial systems in shallow water and at a fraction of the cost. The StarFish 450H is priced very competitively at £1,699.00 GBP (RRP).
