STARFISH SYSTEM CONTENTS & GETTING STARTED

Simply tow the StarFish Towed Side Scan Sonar from a boat or any other vessel, large or small, to capture real-time digital images of the seafloor below.

Tow the StarFish side scan sonar from any boat or vessel to capture real-time digital images of the seafloor below

StarFish systems contain the following*

  1. Starfish 450F/ 452F or 990F Side Scan Sonar ‘Towfish’ Transducer Head
  2. Starfish 450/ 452F or 990F Top Box (includes USB and power cables)
  3. 20m cable** (included with StarFish 450F 452F and 990F Sonars)
  4. AC Mains power adapter (supports 110V and 240V)
  5. Customer supplied DC power supply 9V-28V (i.e. battery), (see Choosing a Power Supply)
  6. Customer supplied PC or Laptop (with at least 1 free USB port and Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7)
  7. StarFish Scanline Software & Driver CD
  8. User guides, bag of tools and sundries
