Mount the StarFish Hull Mount Side Scan Sonar to the hull or stern of your boat to capture real-time digital images of the seafloor below as you travel. Hull mounted side scan sonar systems produce their best sonar images on calm waters where there is little wave motion and surface chop affecting the boat. This makes them ideal for shallow, inland waters such as lakes and rivers. Our user-friendly StarFish Scanline software makes seabed imaging extremely easy for everyone.

The StarFish 450H Seabed Imaging System consists of the StarFish 450H Hull Mount Side Scan Sonar, StarFish 450 Top Box and StarFish Scanline software. The Sonar connects to the Top Box. The Top Box then connects to the power source and any Windows based PC or Laptop via a USB connection.

Correct mounting of the sonar is essential in order to achieve the best image results possible, and as each hull is different, we provide a flexible mounting bracket to help you fix the sonar to a suitable location on your vessel.
